The Details
Your 15 minute mini session will include your immediate family in a short and sweet photo session at your Portland home to celebrate your strength during Covid-19. Your porch, driveway, balcony, sidewalk or garage can act as a great backdrop for these portraits. This is a historic time and you will want to remember the beauty in the chaos!
Feel free to be casual in jeans and t-shirts with bare feet or make it funny with pajamas and wine!
I will maintain a 10 feet+ distance and will be wearing a mask. I will be using longer lenses to achieve the "close up" looks. I'm always happy to include your new baby, furry friends and maternity for the portraits. Two weeks after the session, we will email you the watermarked gallery where you can view your photographs. Your online gallery will be available for 48 hours for you to choose the two that came in your package and order additional prints, digitals or albums. Your house is your home and it really does represent your family love!
About the Photographer
My approach as a family photographer brings that crazy and wild joy to the typical family portrait. With over 15 years as an award winning professional family and wedding photographer, I love capturing all the unique things that make your family yours. As a mom myself, I know the crazy and funny moments are sometimes the most memorable!
Most of us have treasured portraits of ourselves as children; taken with a polaroid or at a portrait studio. With today's technology I worry about our kids no longer having actual photographs to hold or picture album pages to turn. I worry about all those precious memories disappearing with one wrong swipe. I strive to create something lasting that won't just sit on a desktop, but instead becomes part of your treasured home décor. A picture to kiss goodnight to, or to laugh about and share with family. I envision these portraits to be something that creates a magical family story as your children grow.
Our Charity Partner
The world needs our help more than ever. Help us give a little towards a great cause, especially during this trying time. It is our honor to partner with the Oregon Food Bank to help families in need put food on their tables. 15% of your $79 session fee will be donated directly to this important organization. Oregon Food bank distributes food through a Statewide Network of 21 Regional Food Banks and approximately 1,200 food assistance sites serving all of Oregon and Clark County, Washington. In an average month, an estimated 260,000 people are receiving food from a food pantry in the Oregon Food Bank Network.
